As you can now see, I've brought treason charges against myself. I decided it would be best to allow the American people to judge my actions from their perspective, as so far I have merely been defending my actions from mine. I can repeat all day long that I sought justice, unity, and prosperity, but ultimately the people ought to be the judge of that.

The impeach that I asked Sahbani to propose to serve as my resignation will pass shortly, and at that point I will officially step down from presidential power. I hope that you will select Sahbani or someone he endorses as president, for reasons I will address later on.

I will not be leaving the United States. I will remain to fight for it and run the Continental Army MU as best I can, but I will be stepping out of the political spotlight. If I am approached for an opinion I may still provide one, but I by no means plan to be an important actor in American politics.

It is at this point that I would like to say thank you to many of the people I have met on this journey.
First and foremost, I'd like to thank Sahbani . He has been my greatest advisor and perhaps the best spokesman for the United States. He's underestimated himself every step of the way, and when he gains confidence he'll realize that he's shaped up to be a great player. Of all the people I gave a positive rating in my first Congressional Elections article, I can honestly say that he is the one I most regret. I should've said "spectacular."

Second, I'd like to thank Silverma . When the US began to come crashing down and we needed ways to fix it, Silverma stepped up with a plethora of advice on setting up the Continental Army as a commune. In a world of crazy, Silverma became an example of stability that I wish was more common.

Next is blowfly . For months he struggled to get elected to Congress when he should have been a shoe-in. For the past month, he has been a wonderful voice of reason, especially on economic issues, and I'm glad to say I could count on him for advice. I cannot express how appreciative of my advisors I really am.

RedBud and Mr X also deserve some thanks. They were almost always the opposition voice to government actions. I must say that even though we often disagreed, at least partially, they proved very valuable in helping to see every side of the issue. Shurdy and many other American citizens may not have seen them in a positive light, but I was certainly happy to listen.

Safewater deserves some thanks as well. To be honest, I had no idea what he was saying 80% of the time he was saying something. But what was certainly clear is that he was always willing to provide his opinion, critiques, and advice on every subject, and for that he has earned America's gratitude.

Fransharry was probably the most fun of my advisors to talk to. He provided a unique perspective and a history of experience that proved vital when he wasn't out partying. I wholeheartedly hope he moves into the merge a rich man indeed.

BattleSir12 needs to be thanked as well. A loyal American until the end, it was always heartening to see him fighting or providing his input in the shouts. I'm glad to have had him on my team.

Lastly, I must thank shurdy for giving me the opportunity to be President. His distrust of me, however, began to show when RedBud and Mr X threatened Civil War and I did not denounce them. It grew when I appointed Sahbani as VP, which was really just because shurdy didn't give me a definitive answer on whether he wanted to remain that involved. Removing his access from the FR was the final straw, when it should just have been a cautionary measure. I did not intend to cut him off from supplies, merely to limit them. That misunderstanding and the exponential build up of antagonism that followed ruined a good thing, something that would have brought America to victory. Unfortunately, I cannot in good conscience work with him again. The bad blood has not cooled, but I must still thank him for the good things that came before this debacle.

Thank you for reading once more.

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
