Stuck in the Middle (Political)

On the one side, we have revolutionaries willing to start a Civil War over higher taxes, without offering a better solution to the government's economic plight.
On the other side, we have a CP who, despite good intentions, is too stubborn to talk to these revolutionaries.

Now that I've summed up the situation, I'll elaborate. I think all of this should be made public, for the sake of both government openness and clarity of intentions.
The issues began long ago. If you look at the companies the US Federal Reserve has, it seems like it was cut short in its development. It doesn't seem like further effort was put into it after a certain point, and therefore the Reserve does not make a profit off of surplus goods-it has none. At this point in the game, however, an overhaul of that will not give the desired outcome. Overhauling it may start bringing in revenue, but not enough to cover the losses generated during the overhaul.
Plenty of points have been made about the government's reckless money printing. This printing was the solution, for a long time, to the government's lack of actual revenue, but that policy cannot be kept up forever. It is, therefore, necessary to change the government's economic system. The question is how.
A few days ago, President shurdy approached VP twezday77 and Defense Officer Sahbani with a plan intended to fix the government's broken system. This involved:
1. Raising taxes on products
2. Raising the salary of real workers in government companies, so that they did not lose pay
3. Printing 20k USD
twezday77 objected to the plan, especially the money printing. He managed to get that portion taken off the table.
The plan's main purpose was to create a sustainable supply system for US troops, with enough left over to sell and therefore minimize losses, or even make a profit. The idea behind the high salaries was to make the government jobs look the most appealing, therefore attracting more workers. Essentially, getting more bang for the government's buck. However, a major criticism of the plan is that it gives the government a monopoly over certain industries. No one can pay as much as the government, and no one can sell as low as the government. Not only would this force other sellers out of the market, it would force citizens to be dependent upon government supplies.
RedBud , Dethicon , Mr X , and others have criticized the plan extensively. I confess I cannot disagree with them on their analysis of the plan itself. Unfortunately, RedBud has turned this into a political move-a catalyst for overthrowing the government. He has not, however, offered any viable alternatives himself, and therein lies my problem with this revolution.
I, twezday77 have stood fast thus far in my efforts to explain the situation, and diffuse tension. I have also refused to back down from defending shurdy , a man I've worked with and communicated with for over a month now in our efforts to better this nation, from my focus in defense and diplomacy to his in economics, from the slander that others have tried to spread against him. He is not a tyrant, he is merely doing his best the best way he knows how.
I see the main issue at hand here to be the unity of America. Unfortunately, it seems others do not see it the same.
On the one hand are revolutionaries like RedBud and Mr X willing to spend a large sum of gold to topple a president with only 8 days left in his term. They offer no solutions, only an argument against the flawed plan currently in effect.
On the other hand is a president and my friend, who sees RedBud and Mr X as lesser men, and believes so strongly that he is right that he is willing to risk civil war over it.

Here I am, twezday77 agreeing with RedBud and Mr X that the plan must be changed, but agreeing with shurdy that the current government's accomplishments do not justify a rebellion. I am thoroughly stuck in the middle.

Now is no time to turn on each other. We are rebuilding our empire and preparing for the final month of this server. There are plenty of countries who could take advantage of American weakness. Now is a time to trust each other, to work together, and to collectively work on figuring out exactly how to fix the Federal Reserve without hurting the people.

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
