Congratulations to all who won in July's elections!

Now for some post-election analysis on the new Congress:

Moonshadow is a returning congressman of the Shadow Government, who earned a Mostly Positive rating in my previous article.
What we have seen: Fairly quick voting and a good grasp of how to run a country.
What we'd like to see: His communication could improve, including the fact that he currently refuses to use IRC (although, let's be real, most e-Americans don't).

Yaronef is a former CP from the IAP, who had a Mostly Positive rating in my previous article.
What we have seen: Dedication, expertise, and a strong record of winning policies.
What we'd like to see: Hopefully he can remain active enough for Congress despite being busy in real life

RedBud is leader of the Anonymous Party and returning congressman, who earned a Very Positive rating in my previous article.
What we have seen: Openness, loyalty, conviction, and decent voting speed.
What we'd like to see: Fewer MPPs with enemies of the US, but other than that, not much.

Mr X is a returning congressman from the Anonymous Party who earned a Slightly Positive rating in my previous article.
What we have seen: A myriad of good qualities, including expertise, dedication, eloquence in writing, and most importantly his conviction about discussing political decisions openly with anyone who has a question.
What we'd like to see: Quicker voting. I know, sometimes real life or sleep gets in the way, but laws here often need to be passed in a hurry, and if Mr X can improve on that he would make a Very Positive congressman.

shurdy is the current CP of the United States, leader of the IAP, and now a returning congressman, who would have received a Very Positive rating in my Article had I known you could run for both Congress and CP.
What we have seen: A good grasp of politics, business, and foreign affairs that has kept him as an important American politician so far on this server.
What we'd like to see: A continuation of excellence.

Toni Kroos is a member of the IAP and a legendary player on other servers, living the quiet life so far on Maxima. He earned a Slightly Positive rating in my previous article.
What we have seen: Large damage counts and a good history of leadership on other servers.
What we'd like to see: Hopefully he can bring that expertise, leadership, and activity to this server as well.

Sahbani is a member of the Dream America Party who earned a Mostly Positive rating in my previous article.
What we have seen: A good showing of activity and dedication befitting a true e-American.
What we'd like to see: As long as his dedication to other fields translates to the Congressional field as well, he will be a good choice.

Jon Snow is the leader of the Dream America Party and former CP, who earned a Very Positive rating in my previous article.
What we have seen: A dedication to the country and a good activity level, along with a proven ability to lead.
What we'd like to see: Jon shouldn't give up just because the CP job was tough. He can still make a good contribution as a Congressman.

juam41 is a memer of the IAP who earned a Slightly Negative rating in my previous article.
What we have seen: He's not a two clicker, as he made his contribution in battle. His political experience is unknown.
What we'd like to see: Hopefully he turns out to be a good congressman. For now, it's completely unknown.

Zoroi is a member of the IAP and returning congressman who earned a Mostly Positive rating in my previous article.
What we have seen: He's made significant contributions in battle and sought to energize the Congress into becoming active. A bit hard-nosed at times, but he tends to vote quickly.
What we'd like to see: Continued efforts to keep Congress working and America winning.

ghyeith is a member of the Anonymous Party who earned a Neutral rating in my previous article.
What we have seen: He's led a country somewhere and is not an recognizable player due to his communication in shouts and comments.
What we'd like to see: His overall activity level at the moment is unknown. If he turns out to be a fast voter, he should be a good choice.

warrowdsz is a member of the Dream America Party who earned a Slightly Positive rating in my previous article.
What we have seen: Like ghyeith, he's not the kind of unrecognizable, silent player we suspect of being a medal hunter. Has the enthusiasm, and he should be a decently quick voter.
What we'd like to see: A display of know-how and a fulfillment of his promise to be active.

harmcity is a member of the Dream America Party who earned a Slightly Negative rating in my previous article.
What we have seen: Not much
What we'd like to see: The same qualities we like to see in every Congressman; dedication, activity, and knowledge.

Dethicon is the leader of the small American Liberty Party who earned a Slightly Positive rating in my previous article.
What we have seen: Seems to be active enough and determined to create an active Congress.
What we'd like to see: Hopefully he'll bring that activity to the table with a side of adequate knowledge for running the country.

alban11 is a member of the Shadow Government who earned a Mostly Negative rating in my previous article.
What we have seen: Nothing, really.
What we'd like to see: Prove me wrong.

Andrej Danko is a member of the IAP who earned a Slightly Positive rating in my previous article.
What we have seen: He's made a name for himself working hard and leading on other servers, and has fought well in battle for us here.
What we'd like to see: If he can bring his activity level and experience to the table here on Maxima, he will turn out to be a great choice.

stickss is a member of the Dream America Party who earned a Mostly Positive rating in my previous article.
What we have seen: Good contributions in battle, experience on other servers, and an activity level that is likely sufficient.
What we'd like to see: Deliver on that promise of activeness and the rest will fall into place.

Fransharry is the leader and only member of the Anime Party, who earned a Neutral rating in my previous article.
What we have seen: Has experience leading a country somewhere.
What we'd like to see: Use of that experience, plus sufficient activity and dedication to e-America.

xXBetancourtXx is a member of the Anonymous Party who earned a Very Positive rating in my previous article.
What we have seen: A proven active player, with plenty of experience and communication.
What we'd like to see: Don't start slacking.

twezday77 is a member of the Anonymous Party and current head of the Department of Defense who earned a Very Positive rating (of course) in my previous article.
What we have seen: Dedication to e-America, a great amount of activity, and government experience, including his continued efforts in coordinating and cooperating with the Cartel and Spain.
What we'd like to see: Not sleeping, so he can send supplies to Safewater at night instead

By the Numbers
If you were keeping count, the political split of Congress looks like this:
Independent American Party: 6
Dream America Party: 5
Anonymous Party: 5
Shadow Government: 2
American Liberty Party: 1
Anime: 1

And when it comes to my previous candidate ratings, it looks like this:
Very Positive: 5
Mostly Positive: 5
Slightly Positive: 5
Neutral: 2
Slightly Negative: 2
Mostly Negative: 1

And when it comes to who didn't get in:
Very Positive: 3
Mostly Positive: 3
Slightly Positive: 3
Neutral: 5
Slightly Negative: 1
Mostly Negative: 8

Number of returning Congressmen: 5

As it currently stands, it looks like we didn't do half bad on electing our new Congress. Hopefully we all turn out to be Very Positive candidates. I'll be keeping tabs this month in order to improve upon my pre-election article for next month, which will have a different format. Congratulations once again to everyone who has joined us in Congress, and please donate the five gold from your medal to the national treasury, as is tradition.

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
