[USPR] Foreign Policy of the United States (Political)

Report

In response to the outcry by U.S. citizens over the Declaration of War issued hours earlier, this press release is meant to clarify things in the realm of our foreign policy objectives and goals. So lets get to it:

Alliance UN

Members: Serbia, Bulgaria, Poland, Croatia, Brazil, Portugal, Vietnam, Afghanistan, USA, Romania.

This alliance is set in stone and will not change for the foreseeable future. It's member nations all have the collective goals of doing well on Maxima for the short duration the server is up (6 months). While we have not joined the coalition due to a still unresolved bug, it should be noted that we are in fact coordinating with and actively communicating with these countries. This is an alliance, no questioning that. Just because in-game we haven't been able to join the coalition due to some technical difficulties does not mean that we do not owe these countries our respect and help.

Wars

Canada: This war was really meant to test our fighting power as a nation, and to make sure that our early citizens didn't get bored and quit. Wars help keep up citizen activity (as obviously this is a war game). The high stone will also be valuable for Defense Systems to defend the rest of high resource regions we hope to acquire or already have acquired.

Mexico(Future): This war was agreed upon by not only myself, my cabinet and multiple MU/business leaders, but I believe many of you once hearing the reasoning behind it will agree. Mexico has a vast worker base (Economy+) and a high iron resource region (Economy++). Acquiring these will do a number of things for our economy such as helping our businesses prosper, reducing the cost of iron and weapons, and making our currency more valuable so to speak. On the military side obviously reducing the cost of iron and weapons helps our nation, but it also keeps our players and MU's active (Military+) and reduces the threat they pose to us once the end of the game roles around (Military++). Yes, Mexico was an early game friend; however, Americans come first. Their CP and MoFA are lovely people, and we would like to clarify that this IS NOT a personal war.

Argentina/Brazil

This has been a very hot button issue lately, and it would be awful if this tore our nation apart. Again, there is nothing personal towards Argentina. Let us be clear though. Argentina started their war with Brazil, and it is not OUR war. We are not in communication with the Argentinians, nor have we ever been. The MPP was not debated nor discussed in congress until many votes had already been cast. (Early congress tend to simply accept MPP's without much thought because all countries early on in the server need allies.)

Now, it is obvious this move is not popular with people. We have an MPP with them, and many of our MU's have fought for them. Our president simply asks of you to not fight for them, and if it is a conflict of interest, he will never ask you to fight against them. The MPP if put to a new vote, would fail. However, congress does not have the in-game ability to annul such laws. The president has America's best interests at heart, and always will. Brazil is apart of our alliance, which will last a very long time, so we should not hit against them. It only causes more problems.

Suggestions/Concerns/Comments

The President and his cabinet are always open to these, so simply shoot them a message. For example here is a message from our president:

Hey guys!

Sorry I haven't been as active as I used to be, I have been super busy over the past week! I actually came on to answer concerns today after spending over 10 hours outside at a meet. I do care of course which is why I came on. I realize a ton of you guys are upset with a few decisions, but I want you to know it is with your best interests at heart. I am not making these decisions on my own, I have a ton of advisors and they too have your interest at hearts. Always feel free to voice your concerns to me and I will attempt to respond in a fairly reasonable amount of time.

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
